Today was a good start to the month! I got back into my morning pages to clear my head to be able to focus on my day. For self -care today, I listened to my favorite music, had a relaxing bath with bubbles and a bath bomb. I have also been working on my self-help book about NVLD which to me is self-care because I'm doing it for myself. Even though it's for an audience, I'm writing it to get my story out there and help others like me. I'm getting tons of help and support on this crazy journey!

I'm good at trying to do everything at once and overwhelm myself to the point of not wanting to do something anymore. Instead of doing all my goals at once, I have a focus for each month. To start off the month, I'm going to continue with my morning pages and add in self-care list and habit tracker to keep up with my skin routine and reading. The morning pages help me to clear my mind and focus on the task at hand. The habit tracker will be a creative way to keep up with my skin routine to keep it looking healthy and get back into reading. I hope all these new strategies will help to change my lifestyle as well as outlook on my own life. My self-care list includes listening to my favorite music, taking a bubble bath, reading, looking at inspirational quotes, learning something new, listening to podcasts, being creative, cuddling with Yoda/stuffed animals, try new hobbies, travel, and meditation.
